This is making me realise I have some serious Draco issues. Self, he's a fictional character! Kindl stop being freaked out/scared/whatever because "people are judging him for what he's like at fourteen!" Because really, if you use that little grey mass that is your brain, you know they're completely right.

I loathe canon-Draco. Can't stand him, if I'm to be blunt.

But...

I'm an optimist.

And I can see the possibility of redemption.

That doesn't mean he should be perfect or sweet, or even nice.

I remember a character on one of the soaps (actually, she was the Cassandra who inspired my RPS pseud :), and she started out as a mystery woman, appeared to be a calculating killer and ended up as a deliciously witty bitch, who wasn't nice at all.

I could so see Draco ending up as the male equivalent. One of those obnoxious-yet-strangely-endearing rich young men.
