This is making me realise I have some serious Draco issues. Self, he's a fictional character! Kindl stop being freaked out/scared/whatever because "people are judging him for what he's like at fourteen!" Because really, if you use that little grey mass that is your brain, you know they're completely right.

I think I know which story Ruth's talking about (Ruth? Is this the one I (unwittingly) "inspired"?) and I don't really think it's been done to death. or at all. The basic plot point, yes, but not Draco's characterisation and motivation.

Yes, it is. But, you know, if it has Harry and Draco together and happy about it, then that's obviously trite and silly and something that just Should Not Be Done.
