This still amuses me. Free The LiveJournal Three! Possible because it's late and I'm immresed in my IRA research and well, I'm trying to make sense of it all and it's nice to have things like this to lugh about so there.
I'm not in the Harry Potter fandom much. I'm on one or two mailing lists just mostly to know which way the wind is blowing because I have articles on my web site that pertain to Harry Potter and so that if there is an interesting post to it, I can e-mail the author and ask for permission.
I still read twincest and non-shipper material fan fiction wise but my involvement otherwise is mostly surfing Harry Potter sites, collecting HP images and lusting after Oliver Wood.
I like the books. I enjoy the books but for books, I'm just not a person who is able to get the subtext... *shrugs* (Television, yeah sure. Movies, yuppers. Books not really , nope.) Fandom goes beyond fan fiction. Whole segments of the Harry Potter fandom exist outside the land of shipping. I know several people like that.
