When are those %$?* Palestinians going to stop murdering Israelis and just let them live?

Um, you know, that conflict goes both ways. Yes, the Palestinians kill Israelis. And then the Israeli army goes into the Palestinian areas and kills some people. And then the Palestinians retaliate, etc. etc. This is not a case of the poor Israelis being randomly murdered by the vicious, evil Palestinians. This is a conflict that goes back at least sixty year, and even longer if you're really gonna dig back.I did a huge-ass essay on this when I was sixteen, yo. I know about this conflict.

It's horrible, and sad, and has claimed way, way, way to many lives over the course of sixty years, but the reason it's been going on since then is precicely because there is blame on both sides!

And now I'll stop myself before I launch into a veritable diatribe on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and why it's still not resolved. Nobody wants to hear that, right? Thought so.

Things I was going to accomplish today:

• Clean bathroom
• Clean bedroom
• Clean kitchen (In progress)
• Clean living room -- touroughly, as in including the big heap of junk I was "gonna pick through whenI have the time" and that's been there for three weeks now In progress, about 3/4th done with phase one. Phase two will be picking through the books, magazines, etc to figure out which ones I'm keeping.)
• Laundry

I htough I was through my junk, but I'd forgotten about my Big Ole Trunk o' Doom. Blah.

Don't feel like doing much more cleaning, blah. I think I'mm just clean my desk area, the living room floor, and the kitchen, and make all the already sorted junk into neat little piles on the ground. Hey! At least I've made a huge dent in the clean-pu! Wooo! My CDs, books and tapes are sorted and in my book case. Dude! I'm selling, like, a third of my books! And I feel great about it! Whee! No more stpuid emotions about book! Well, less than before, anyway. Anyone want a book? :)

... I'm boring. But accomplished! Right, come on, self, we're on the home stretch.

Lesbian teen slashed with razor blades in Denver

A 17-year-old girl in Denver is recovering from an attack Tuesday by four men who used razor blades to carve gay slurs into her arms and abdomen, Denver's KMGH Channel 7 reports. The word dyke was cut into April Mora's forearm, and the initials R.I.P. were cut into her abdomen. Mora said the four men, all of whom she described as being about 18 years old, started to harass her as she was walking down the street on Tuesday. "I was looking at [their car], and they said, 'Look at that dyke.' And I guess I looked at them in the wrong way," Mora said. "[They were] calling me a dyke and [saying], 'Why were you looking at me like this?' and I was lucky that they didn't rape me." Mora said she believes she was attacked because of her sexual orientation. "I don't look like a girl," she said. Police have no suspects in the attack. Colorado is one of 20 states that do not include sexual orientation as a protected category in their hate-crimes statutes.
