Very much so. He's never been a terribly good film critic. Then he jumped on the OMG Hollywood is destroying America's purity!!! bandwagon, producing books such as "Hollywood vs. America" and "Saving Childhood: Protecting Our Children from the National Assault on Innocence."

Yeah, a cursory google search turned up the phrase "Michael Medved has taken an extraordinary journey from liberal activist to outspoken conservative," and that was all I needed to know. Sigh.

I did wonder why, given that he's described as a former film critic, he was even getting a platform to spout his ill-informed opinion anymore, but then your American medcia baffles me on a daily basis, I fear.
