So I'm looking at this job, which on the surface looks like something I could enjoy doing -- admin stuff in an IT environment, presumably surrounded by geeks or at least pseudo-geeks. Except then I see this in the "Key Responsabilities" bit:

Influencing managers and staff, over whom you have no authority

... That just somehow strikes me as a red flag. o_O

But! No authority! Which to me sounds like "You're supposed to make people behave, but we're giving you no way to MAKE them behave," and I've put up with quite enough of that bullshit. :/
