Have acquired new desk, wheee! Sorry folks, but I got the cheaper one for monetary and size reasons. Now, to decide where I'm going to put it, exactly.

Also, tonight is clearly Adam Baldwin night on my TV. First The Posseidon Adventure, now Full metal Jacket. Mmmmm. (Man, thay guy just gets typecast to hell, doesn't he?)

Dude. That desk is almost exactly like mine. Mine is supposed to have wheels on the bottom and a hutch on top, but the wheels would make it too tall for me (also, uglier), and the hutch would look bad since my desk is in the middle of the main room.

We saw him in Stargate SG-1 the other night, where he was basically playing Jayne, only from 21st century Earth and working in the USAF.

Yup, in The Posseidon Adventure he's basically playing Jayne on a sinking ship, and in Full Metal Jacket he's playing Jayne in Vietnam. Poor guy.

Still, if it wasn't for FMJ, he probably wouldn't've got to be Jayne at all.

And he was /really/ loving the fan attention when we saw him, so I think he can live with the typecasting. ;o)
