So I'm not going to be going to Escapade this year. Sigh. I kept holding out hope that I'd manage, but it's time to face the music and admit I just can't afford it this year. This sucks. After this year, I was really looking forward to spending a few days just hanging out with my friends and talking fantalk and probably drinking too much again at at least one point, and ... Yeah. *gloom*

The Dutch have been suspiciously quiet this last week. This is what's known as the silence before the storm, isn't it? *eyes Holland nervously*

Roleplaying tonight, which at least is a bright point in my week.

[ETA] Fuckity crap. Just finished the red stripe on the Gryffindor hat I'm knitting, and guess what? I forgot to brig the yellow yarn. So not only am I knitting-less at work, but this evening as well, which means I'll be fidgeting like mad. I think it may be worth nipping down home for the yarn, another quick look for my dice, and possibly to change, before I go to Kai's. *muttergrumbleBAHHUMBUG*[/ETA]

I second the "sorry you can't make Escapade this year" sentiment! It would have been really nice to reconnect there! But I totally understand that sometimes the Real Life, she does not co-operate :/.

I know! The one year I really needed the mental boost, too. :( I'm going to start saving up for next year, though, and dammit, if I have to get a second job for a while to get the money, I will make it then!
