As promised, pictures of the finished shawl, plus something I did a few months ago:
Triangular Scarf One
The finished scarf. You can sort of see the pistures in this one, but not quite. Stupid dark colours. Stupid crappy camera. |

Triangular Scarf Two
Modelling the scarf. Ignore the weird look on my face. |

Cross-Stitched Highland Coo
I picked up this wee cross-stitching set for a fridge magnet on holiday with my parents this summer. Turned out rather nice, I'd say. |
 |
Man, my camera is crap.
[ETA] It's 03:22 in the morning.

(Partial) Stash One
The result of an evening of skeining and balling yarn.
Left to right:
- About 140m of rainbow yarn, bought fot 50p as scrap yarn;
- About 750m (800g) of teal/blue (actual colour is a bit lighter than it looks in the picture) Aran yarn, very nice and probably destined to become another triangual shawl;
- Roughly 1,000m (800g) (including the ball) of red Aran yarn (actual colour is a touch darker than it looks in the picture--have I mentioned my camera is crap?) for Gryffindor scarves and other projects;
- A ball of a bit over 200m (100g) of dark yellow / golden yellow Aran yarn, actually two balls of 50g meant for double-knitting, for Gryffindor scarves and other projects.
Not pictured: Another six 50g skeins/balls of the yellow, plus assorted scraps and leftovers, yet to be skeined and/or balled. |
At least now I'm vaguely organised, and prepared to start the Gryffindor scarves. Though I'll probably need to go and buy a smaller pair of circs for those. Man, I really need to buy one of those Needlemaster things.[/ETA]
