Dear paracetamol,

I love you. Let's get married and live in cramp-free bliss forever!

SO MUCH LOVE,
Melle

Dear uterus,

The feeling is mutual, bitch.

Bleedingly yours,
Melle

Dear annoying people,

Go away or I will find a way to remove what little brain you have with a crochet hook.

Frustratedly,
Melle

If you find the crochet hook method, pass it on, especially if a twisted paperclip would work also, or a screwdriver. I have access to different tools, but there is also an Annoying People Hazard.

Will do! I'm thinking a nice stab-and-twist mostion through the eyeball should do the trick.

Try through the nose, like the ancient Egyptians did!

I think I'd rather have the cramps than the emotional crap. At least then you can take painkillers and lie down for a while. The past couple of days have convinced me that it is absolutely time to start paying attention and following the nutrition guidelines again.

Good point, about both. At least there are painkillers for the pain. And I should follow the nutrition guidelines again as well, they worked well when i followed them.

Yeah, and having the willpower to go without coffee on the days when I could use it most. <g>

(BTW, just to check, did you get my e-mail, or do I need to go and get medieval on my webmail again?)

The real way to do it is to stick to those guidelines all the time, which I was trying to do until I got totally derailed into comfort eating. Which I was conscious of and mostly okay with until I started feeling all blech again. (I started following the guidelines almost all the time after I ate nothing but candy from Halloween to Easter--and that's only a slight exaggeration.)

(I did, and I decided it's better to wait to answer until I get through this bout of PMS. That way you can get some actual words and not just random frothing at the mouth. When I say I'm having bad PMS right now, I really mean it.)

*nod* I'm already doing the six-small-meals thing because of my bloodsugar, and I try to reduce salt as much as I can, but the real problem is the caffeine. *clings to it* But at least I now have a semi-regular cycle. I think.

(No problem, just wanted to make sure it'd arrived. My e-mail's been acting weird lately, barfing up e-mails days after the fact, and stuff like that. Hope the PMS gets better soon!)

I should probably switch to six small meals instead of three meals and a whole bunch of snacks. At least when I'm focussed on this I take healthy snacks with me to work. The salt one is pretty easy for me because I don't eat much salt. Also, if I do when I'm PMSing, my breasts hurt almost immediately, which is a good deterrant. The caffeine's easy for me because I don't drink coffee. *mocks the addicts* ;p

(I sure hope so too. And it should get better today. Plus, I have an issue that I hope to be able to deal with this evening and I hope the dealing with it will make my life a whole lot better. I'll email you all about it tonight or tomorrow or this weekend.)

Don't mock meeeeee! It's an affliction, dammit! I've actually found it easier to eat healthy snacks since moving here, because the chocolate here sucks. Makes it a lot easier not to devour the stuff by the kilo when I'm on my period.

(Good luck on the dealing with the issue. I'll be around all this weekend, probably, and I'm gonna try and get online at a reasonable time in your time zone to try and catch you on IM, if that's cool with you?)

*mockmockmock* ;p

That would help with the chocolate thing. I ate a whole bunch before my period, but I had a piece yesterday and it didn't even taste very good, so at least I'll be able to stay away from it somewhat easily the rest of the time. (The candy dish is on the desk my officemate and I share. I've started lobbying to move it out to the open space another coworker has. It would still be near us, but it wouldn't be right there.)

(Thank you. It went fairly well. That sounds good, but let me know about when you think you'll be around. I haven't been online much during the day on the weekends recently, so if you let me know when, I'll be sure to be here.)
