A glimmer of hope? You know, much as I understand tht both sides in the conflict have their doubts about the validity of this, I still want to punch Ian Paisley in the face. Something about that man brings out the worst in me. Grar.

Big Brother Babbling: My Eugene love grows daily. Love him, people, LOVE HIM! Also, Derek twirling Kamal when he returned from the isolation chamber: so cute! Wheee! And, of course, my boys, who grow more dysfunctional by the day. Bless 'em.

Exactly. I don't blame the Unionists for being sceptical about this latest move from the IRA, but there's a difference between "I'll believe it when I start seeing it," and "Nothing they do or say will make me sit at a table and talk to murderers."

Did you know that Paisley hates other Protestants, too? There was a documentary a few years ago, and he belongs to a tiny, quite fundamentalist Protestant sect, he's a proselytising missionary. O_o;;
