What it with comics. DC's got the Girls in Refridgerators/can't be a strong woman without previously suffering MASSIVE TRAUMA thing and Marvel's got the whole 'kill off the gay/different/etc' character thing. I mean, what the fuck.

(And oh, get me started on female comic characters. Hate. Haaaaate. Jubilee is one of the few I absolutely adore, because she's strong without being "evil" or "bitchy", and she has a normal body.)
