So, US election day. I don't have TV at the moment, so I'm counting on you lot to keep me up on the latest results and stuff.I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Kerry, obviously, becasue I dread the idea of another four years of Bush. Unfortunately, there seem to be a whole bunch of people who're going to vote Bush because they "have to support the president," and if someone could explain that concept to me I'd be grateful, cause I don't get it. At all.
*commences nailbiting*
And at the risk of preaching to the choir, if you're a US citizen, VOTE! If not for yourselves, then for the 17-year olds who can't vote yet but will have to live with whoever wins for the next four years, and for those of us living in countries with prime ministers who play lapdog to the US.

You should make sure you're on the electoral register. there's some things you're allowed to vote on.

I've been at a counter strike gathering, it's tough, maybe invisible to the naked and untrained eye, but it's there. Hopefully the tensions will ease as soon as this day is over. But I doubt it, there will be legal battles and until the new president takes office, people will still be trying to turn the tide one way or another.
