So, US election day. I don't have TV at the moment, so I'm counting on you lot to keep me up on the latest results and stuff.I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Kerry, obviously, becasue I dread the idea of another four years of Bush. Unfortunately, there seem to be a whole bunch of people who're going to vote Bush because they "have to support the president," and if someone could explain that concept to me I'd be grateful, cause I don't get it. At all.

*commences nailbiting*

And at the risk of preaching to the choir, if you're a US citizen, VOTE! If not for yourselves, then for the 17-year olds who can't vote yet but will have to live with whoever wins for the next four years, and for those of us living in countries with prime ministers who play lapdog to the US.

Ooooh, didn't know that, and I will! I know I can vote for the European elections over here (and wether I vote here or back home I'll decide once the European elections come around again), but I didn't think I'd be allowed to vote otherwise. Thanks, I'll look into that!

I think you can also vote in local elections, but not Westminster or Holyrood.

Either way, you should take every vote you can get. :o)
