Zero: Hello, slash support? My muses aren't cooperating.
Slash Support: What seems to be the problem? Just not responding?
Zero: Well, my James-muse won't stop brooding and angsting, and my Billy-muse is on a one-man crusade to save modern music, instead of giving my James-muse some quality time like he should.
SS: Oh, god, Pumpkins... We'll start with James, the easy one. What's his malfunction?
Zero: He's pining away for D'arcy. I've tried everything. I've talked to him, had my Jimmy-muse talk to him, written a fic where he goes to a Cure concert so he can forget his troubles...
SS: Have you gotten him drunk?
Zero: !?
SS: It just might work. And for Billy...this might be a little harder. First, you gotta convince him to come off his crusade. Fill his angry little head with good music. Like Exciter.
Zero: Good idea!
SS: And once he gets back, you have to get him all lovey and stuff...this is where creative scenemaking would come in to play.
Zero: Sunsets? Palm trees? Strawberry daquiris?
SS: No, you gotta remember, he's not quite right in the head. How about that big Victorian house in Chicago that he bought...up in the attic, so he can see all the stars.
Zero: But I just gave my James-muse a bottle of tequila, and he'll be too drunk to climb the stairs!
SS: Artistic license. Trust me.
Zero: Thanks! But what if it doesn't work? What if they start fighting or something, or James gets too loopy?
SS: Even better! You'll have a plot bunny, either a making-up scene, or some life-threatening drunken catastrophe.
Zero: Good point. Thank you very much!
SS: You have a nice evening, ma'am.
