Pornish drabble for [livejournal.com profile] deepsix and [livejournal.com profile] ladyjaida. SeanB/Orlando, set in this bizarre universe [livejournal.com profile] ruby_fruit and I conceived of, in which the Fellowship is at Hogwarts.

SeanB is Chaser and Captain of the Slytherin (I think) Quidditch team, and Orlando's Seeker for Ravenclaw Gryffindor, and for the sake of the drabble, that's all you need to know.

Untitled

Sean's not entirely sure how they ended up here, although thinking about it later, he'll realise that a broom closet is of course the most logical place for two Quidditch players to make out in. This does not, however, explain in any way why he's making out with the Gryffindor Seeker in the first place.

Not that he minds, because Orlando is every bit as agile on the ground as he is in the air, and the kid kisses better than Viggo, and there's something he never thought he'd find himself thinking. Orlando's hands deftly slide under the waistband of his trousers, and then he's not thinking much of anything anymore.

"Fuck," he gasps against Orlando's lips, and he can vaguely see Orlando's slightly smug grin in the dim light.

"That's what I was hoping for, yes," Orlando says, and before Sean can react, Orlando's lips are on his again.

Further details of the universe: Liv is Orlando's older sister, Viggo used to be with Sean but now has a huge crush on Ian, who teaches DADA, Dom has a crush on Liv, Elijah and SeanA are the Sappiest Couple of Hogwarts, and Billy will sleep with anyone who's willing. (Dude, Amy, I think we forgot a Fellowship member. Oops?)

Why am I telling you all this? Because rather than write this, I'd like to turn it into a mini-RPG. Just three, maybe four of us, playing multiple characters, probably. Anyone interested?

Yeah, but I didn't get the impression they call him Orli all the time. Do they? I've only read interviews, not actually heard any, but they seem to mostly call each other by their full names (except for Dom), even if they do insert an Orli or a Lij every now and again. And don't even get me started on the 'Billeh' thing. Eurgh.

And yeah, I find 'Sevvie' in particular offensive, I mean, WTF?! Snape wouldn't just threaten to hex anyone who'd call him that, he'd kill them. Slowly. Using Cruciatus.

I can sort of see, perhaps, Sirius calling Remus Remy, if he's in an overly whiny mood. But it still makes me want to hit whoever wrote that. And somehow, Remmie's even more offensive.

True, but I can usually read over an overuse of canon nicknames if the rest of the story's good, whereas non-canon, utterly ridiculous nicknames like Sevvie completely ruin a story for me.

Espcecially with Remus, who has a canon nickname, for god's sake people will you please read the goddamn books already dsqkfljsdkjfezoifjslkdjg

Okay, better now.

Espcecially with Remus, who has a canon nickname

yeah, but we don't know when he got that nickname, though. Was he the only one who had such a nickname for years, or did they all get "matching" nicknames in fifth year when they managed the transformation?

And one could argue they called him Remy in the first year, when they didn't know he was a werewolf, and never really got rid of that nickname. One, of course, not being me. *g*

See, but Remy always makes me think of Alleen op de Wereld, which may be apt considering Remus' life, but still.
Either that or X-Men, which is even more bizarre. Basically, call the bloke Remy and I'll be expecting him so start talking French.

*laughs* Luckily, I don't know X-Men, and if it were French, Id expect to see Rémy, not Remy. But yeah, I actually remember Remus being presented as French on quite a few occasions. Heh, I think you may well just have uncovered a mystery for me. :)

And yeah, Alleen op de Wereld. It's probably too long ago since I read it to really make the association. But Remy just sounds so... whiny. Give me Remus any day.

Exactly. Plus, the only reason for nicknames that are just abbreviations of a real name (as opposed to something like "Moony") is to make a name shorter, and Remy and Remus have the same number of syllables!
