What? Mini!Euro!HPCon
Where? Antwerp, Belgium
When? 23 November 2002
Why? Because I need slashers to come and watch CoS with me!

That's right, for those of you who hadn't heard, I'm trying to organise a little slasher's party for CoS. The movie comes out over here on the 20th, so by Saturday, it'll be out in my local movie theatre as well. I can buy tickets beforehand to make sure we get in. The movie will be in English, subtitled in Dutch and French. (Yes, we have subtitles in two languages. No, that's not that confusing. ^_^)

I can put up about five or six people in my flat, possibly more, so there wouldn't be any hotel costs or anything, and we could be as loud as we want to be at night.

The (tentative) plan is to go to the early afternoon viewing, then go to my favourite Irish pub afterwards to have some drinks, squee over the slashiness, gossip about BNFs, discuss elaborate slash theories, and all those other things I always seem to end up doing when meeting slashers in real life, and then I was thinking we could go to the Aalmoezenier, which is my favourite club. ^_^

So, if you're European, and you'd like to come hang out with slashers and watch CoS with them, come on over.

If you're planning to come, even if it's just tentative, please let me know so I can plan to take that Friday and monday off?

Hey, it wouldn't be a hotel room, it'd be my humble abopde. ^_^

Oops. Word slip. I guess I just needed a hotel room with all the noise going around me at the time I wrote it.

But yeah, I don't think any TPM slashers are gonna be there (no, wait, I think Lido is a TPMer),

Lido? I haven't heard of her yet. It could be off course, since I'm not a writer, that I'm circulating in the same space as she is.
Hug her for me when you see her?

How old are you, out of curiosity?

21. *sigh*

[livejournal.com profile] lido_kitty, who is from France. ^_^

Hey, cool, someone who isn't that much younger than me. :D

Hehe! Another French!

*giggle*
Do old ladies ask you too what you'll do after highschool? People always suspect I'm 18 or less.

If I run around with my nephew in tow, people start gasping/staring and I suspect they are calculating at what age I conceived my 'kid'.

Re:

Ha! No, thankfully, I've always looked older than I actually am, and between 17 and 21, I looked exactly my age. Which was a nice change. (Okay, technically, I still am 21, but I look older again now, thanks to my newly-black hair.)

My brothers are too young to have kids yet, thank god, and they're too old to be mistaked for my sons. I am, however, going to have a baby cousin soon(ish), so I expect things like that to start happening, yes.

Cool. Before you know it, you'll have a cousin coming over to play with you and the computer games you've got.
Every seen a seven-year-old playing Quake against a 21-year-old and actually winning? He's got the most biggest awful smirk I've ever seen. And he does "Nananana" like a pro.
And I just can't believe he's the same as that little kid who loved to pee on me when we went down the slide. (haven't forgiven him yet!)

So you have multiple brothers? *wince*
I have an older brother who hasn't figured out how to cook an egg.
And I have a sister that does know how to make and egg, but then forgets to eat it.

And I'm suppose to work on a paper now.And I don't wanna!

Yeah, I've got a plethora of cousins on my dad's side of the family, but I hardly ever see them, and they're almost all older than I anyway. So this ought to be fun. ^___^

And I just can't believe he's the same as that little kid who loved to pee on me when we went down the slide.

Heh. My eldest brother did that to me once.

So you have multiple brothers? *wince*

Nah, they're not bad. Well, they're not bad now that i don't have to live with them anymore. (They're 19 and 14, so they still live at home.) And we were all taught how to cook -- and how to do basic things like change a tyre on our bikes and stuff. ^___^

Go work on your paper!

Ewwww. That's even worse.

Well, they're not bad now that i don't have to live with them anymore.

*nods* That's my main gripe with my brother. He just doesn't leave home although he complains endlessly of how bad it is!
Luckily I'm away a lot during the week, but it's holiday so I'm stuck with both brother and nephew for a whole week. And I need to study and work...

And we were all taught how to cook

Dang. My brother and sister were way to spoiled to have ever needed to cook for themselves.

Go work on your paper!

Uhm... No. Or maybe... that could be a handy way for not having to endure my nephew trying to tackle me from above the couch.
