Right. Somebody please inform my monkeys that in no way, shape or form does the world need an HP War!fanfic archive?

Oh, look, I've been at work for all of fourty minutes and already the idiots are getting on my nerves.

I need a cigarette. And then I need to do somethig productive. Like write. Or that job thing I get paid to do.

Re:

*whimper*

Actually, considering the nature of HP fandom, maybe a links page would be better than an actual archive? Or a reccs page? Hm.

I need to spiff up my reccs page anyway, maybe I can make a special subdivision for war!fic ...

Because I need more projects, yes.

Links/recs page would probably be *much* easier to manage save for the problem with the broken links. *nod* Something like the List of Snape Fics: http://www.swallowingshadows.nu/snapefics/ ?

Projects: XD I know! I have the same problem. *pets you and gives you a cookie* I'll help if there's any way I can?

Weasleycest: Link doesn't work. ._.

And true. Also, it's nice for the reader to get a bit of an impression of what the story's about so they don't have to wade through oodles of stories they won't like. (In case you're planning to do mini-reviews/summaries like you do on your recs page, that is.)

(War!fic: every story that is set during a wizard war or deals with the aftermath of one. Or is that too loose a definition?)

See, now I'm thinking I might seperate the Links Page from my reccs page. Because there's a lot of stories that are obviously well-written and that I know would appeal to someone else, but that don't hit a nerve with me, and yeah. I'd make a links page, with certain quality standards (proper spelling and grammar, formatting that doesn't make my eyes bleed, story must be readable in both IE and NN, that sort of stuff), and do a little summary and quote like on my reccs page, but save the mini-reviews for my actual recs page.

A bit, I think, yeah. I think "A story in which the Wizarding War or its aftermath and the effect thereof on the characters are a (major) focus. Because it's not just that it has to be set during the War, it also has to, you know, be at least partially about the War.

*nod* Plus, if I make it a reccs page rather than a links page (sort of like Molly's Weasleycest site), I won't have to archive or even link to stories that make my eyes bleed.

Cookie!

And hey, war!fic reccs are welcome any time. ^_^

(One of the problems would be to define "war!fic" in a not too vague way, though.)
