Okay, so here's the deal. Someone forwarded Polar to a mailing list. I don't like this. At all. in fact, I'm damn near furious. I don't like not knowing where my stories are, and this is only one step better than archiving my story without permission.

So, what do I do? Contact the listmod? Contact the guy who forwarded the story? Both? Neither?

Argh. I hate fandom.

IMO? I'd ask the moderator to delete it from the group archives, and I'd contact the guy who forwarded the story, and ask him not to do that again.

The first suggestion was probably better, but instead of asking the guy not to do it again, I'd bitch/yell at him. There are certain things everyone knows you're not supposed to do in fandom, and just asking him would sound too much like a favor, when it's not. He has to not do it anymore, and that's it. So I say, go ahead and give in to your anger; people like that deserve to be yelled at.
