Update at independent soul! New quotes, new drabbles, I put my wallpapers up in their own section, and there's a new entry, in which I wax melancholically about the Eighties.
Meep! Holly Hobby! I'd completely forgotten such a thing existed and certainly wouldn't have expected it to be widely known (well, by a friend of mine, in another country) - I have no idea who Holly Hobby was, and would have bet a small amount of money that my doll was named by Mum or grandmother. You learn something every day.
Fortunately I never dressed like my doll, which was fortunate because I seem to remember it wore a horrible blue hat, horrible blue flowered leggings and a horrible dress. I was very much a skirt-wearing girl in the 80s, but luckily my parents were still hippies and consequently didn't dress me in the fashions of the time.
