God. I'm old. And there's 170+ MB of content on there, pure content, more than half of which is RPS, and man. I never imagined there'd be so many people willing to put their RPS out in the open, out and proud. Thinking about the way it was when I started RS-X, let alone when I got into slash ...
This summer marks the sixth anniversary of my reading my first slash story. I think that's why I associate summer with reading heaps and heaps of gay porn, because that's what I did the summer I was fifteen. Loads and loads of slash: The Sentinel, Highlander, due South, ...
Rareslash is three and a half now. My baby, my slash childhood home, and we're bigger than allslash, foerchrissakes! And of course the RSA. I have the worst memory in the wold, but I can remember each and every story I archived for the RSA, and every rare slash story I've ever read. That's impressive, I'd say. And yet, part of me wants to go back to being seventeen, eighteen, starting rareslash, being all "Eee!" and hero-worship-y when Mona subbed to the list, being all atwitter because we were up to 54 members, starting the RSA, the whole thrill of the newness, you know? Right now I feel old and jaded and responsible, and less than four years ago, I was a goddamn teenie.
You name it, I've seen it or want to!

(And also, you give me WEBSPACE! for FREE! I can't possibly tell you how cool and wonderful that is. You are one of those people who make the world less evil and more joyful.)

(Can't take credit for all the costs that go into femgeeks, though. LE people have contributed a lot for that.)
(And the same goes for the whole RPS thing--I think I mainly just managed to catch the first big wave and ride it out.)
But. Thanks. Knowing I've made even the slightest difference is the best feeling in the world.
