(Jane Carnall; FCA-L)- Er. No, brain, I did NOT that image. Or that little bit of dialogue.
- o_O?
- A random US team member and Becks. Showing each other that there're "no hard feelings." Except one.
(Tri, me; MSM)- Yes, yes, I'm a closet European. Excuse me while I return to my place behind the winter coats.
(Tri, MSM)Although I can't help but wonder sometimes, if, when I die, I'm going to be standing in front of God's throne, and he'll go "So, you found it amusing and cool that people on RareSlash wrote Me/Satan, eh?" and then I'll just start giggling, because apparently, God is Canadian.
(Me; MSM)- Canonically, and this comes from a Lucasfilm mouthpiece: "there is no homosexuality in the SW universe."
- <boggles> I'm just speechless at that level of pompous idiocy. What is with this guy?
- Who has time for homosexuality, what with all the incest?

And that's so fucking true. What is the lesser of evils in George Lucas' universe? Let's see... most of the Luke/Han subtext that's actually in the original trilogy comes from their little fight over Leia. There is an actual Luke/Leia kiss. They don't seem to freak out over this kiss whent they actually find out they're related.
(And then there's those people who see Luke/Vader. People who are not me.)
I won't go into the fact that Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan/Anakin has slight incest tones stemming from the master/apprentice relationship mirroring that of father/son.

I see GL's taken a poll of the Star Wars universe. The Bothians on Seeyaasskaaa 5 must be really upset with him, as they only have one gender....
And that's not even mentioning the Kartahars on Yadafvafds -- they have eighteen genders!
Actually, I'm kidding; the Bothians and Kartahars aren't canon. But really, George....

"That was what Sarn Shild wanted everyone to think. In truth, the Moff's sexual preferences did not run to human females. Bria traveled with him as a lovely show object, to be displayed to Imperial officials, just as Shild would display any trophy."
pg. 208, The Hutt Gambit, by A.C. Crispin
I agree, it is awfully idiotic for Lucas to say right off that there's no homosexuality in SW. This isn't the first time he's fucked up on stuff like this, either. The whole "A Jedi shall not love" thing was created as a plot device to justify Anakin turning to the dark side, and was only incorporated into the story when the story of AOTC was written.
