Hmm. But that's not quite what the article says, is it. I mean, it pretty much says the contrary - that Europeans are much more liberal-minded, while Americans are stuck-up and prudish. Which, in some respects, might even be true. Speaking of the society in general of course, and not the individual being.

Ah yes, good point. I was reading it more as Europeans being stuck in the days when it was considered a man's right to have a mistress etc... But looking at it again i was being a bit oversensitive.
