I just saw the Without Me video.

Gayest. Thing. Ever.

Jezus, Em, if you're gonna be a superhero, pick someone a little more straight than the Boy Wonder, please?

I half thought about that, too. I mean...you know...I do think Robin gets a bad reputation, but definitely not the most masculine of superheroes.

Re:

Yes! And he didn't even pick the cool Kevlar costume from the movie, but the LYCRA! So. Damn. Gay!

He picked Robin?!!? Ahahaha! The boy is trying to tell us something, he picked the gayest sidekick ever.

Mmmm, Batman/Robin.

Re:

And not only that, but it's the OLD SCHOOL costume, with the lycra and the UNDERWEAR outside the TIGHTS! Also, I think he actually wantedc Dre to wear aBatman-like costume, but Dre refused. Aw, poor Em.

And the closeup! On his ass! And the BANANA when he talks about Chris and he LEAVES the WOMEN 'cause his MAN is calling him, oh my god it's SO GAY.

I'm in love.

Re:

Yes! And the COSTUME! and the LOOK he goives Dre in the car! Wheeeeeeeee!

*dances* He's gay, gay, GAY!

(And this is why I should never ever go to an Eminem concert.)

Don't mine me, I've not had my coffee yet. =D

I just saw the video. Dear God. I love the "what the hell is he doing?" looks on Dre-as-Batman's face. Supherhero AU anyone?

I'd love to know if Em has any clue about the homoeroticism of Batman.

Re:

Yes! Anyone? As in, anyone but me? =D (Oh, god. That scene in the ... third? Fourth? Batman movie, where Robin saves Batman from some sort of quicksand-like thing. Imagine that with Dre and Em. Oooooooh.)

And in my world, he does, and this whole thing is some sort of ironic commentary on whatever, except then he'd have chosen Joey and not Chris, what with Joey's whole Superman fixation, and why am I thinking about this instead of about the Gay, Gay, GAY! goodness of the video? Oh, right, because smart boys + irony = sexy!

I really want some reporter to ask him so we'll know. I'd love to know if the reporter would have to explain "homoeroticism" to him or not.

Re:

I'm not sure any reporter is that ballsy. Sigh. Yet another reason I should've become a journalist. ("Mr Mathers, are you aware of the homoeotic symbolism in your latest video? Oh, and can I lick your boyfriend?")(Maybe not ...)

Oh, you never know. One reporter did ask him, "What if Proof were gay?"

I just saw this video again, and I noticed that Em really likes to dress up (he did it for the "Real Slim Shady" video too). I think he must have been deprived as a child.

Re:

And now I'm having visions of seven year old Marshall in his mother's clothes, being discovered by the boyfriend du jour and getting the crap kicked out of him ...

Mmm. Yeah. That's along the lines I was thinking of. Have you seen Billy Elliot? I can see Em greeting one of his friends at the door in a dress and lipstick.
