There was a very high foot-in-mouth risk in that one, but hey, if there was one thing Angelus had taught him it was how to bullshit his way out of everything. From Hello London. I just like smartass!Spike. I'm not that fond of this story anymore, but I still like the idea of Ethan/Ripper/Spike.
Ever since Chris' death I find myself dreaming about that summer a lot.
From Summer Heat. Actually, this one's a first line. It sums up the essence of the story in thirteen words. I like it.
Slouching is an art only 17-year olds can ever really master.
From Kisses in the Closet. Because you can really tell how old my oldest brother was when I wrote this. <g>

I've often wondered if it was possible to pass out from sheer lust. From Bubbles. It's nice, matter-of-factly, and I think it's kind of sexy.
"It can't be. Tell them it can't be morning yet, James, they'll listen to you."
From Grief. Jason doesn't like mornings. I sympathise. I like this line, it's amusing.
James blinked at him. "Jason, I think you've had enough alcohol for one day. Put down the lollipop and step away from the beer."
From Lust. Again with the funny.
There's something about this man that wakes up my aggressive side, and all of the sudden I find myself pushing him against the wall hard, my hands reaching to undo his pants.
From The Wall. This one really sums up the story: hard, aggressive sex aganist the wall.
We've had a fight.
From Walls. Short and to the point.
Justin wished Chris would stay out of his head while he was having sex.
From All That Glitters. again, I'm amused at myself.
After all, money didn't come with loyalty attached.
From Sin. Sums up Lars in this one really nicely.
Fuck the future, his nerve endings screamed at him, fuck the past, only now is real.
From Playtime. I like it. It's evocative, and it has the feel I was going for in the whole story -- very grounded in the moment.

She can't even remember the number of times she walked into the room they all shared to see them lying there like a two-piece puzzle. From Here and Now. It should be a stupid metaphor, but it seems to work. I'm proud of that.
Nick scans the radio waves for something decent, but it's three AM and we're in the middle of nowhere.
From Easy. Because this is exactly how the story feels, to me.

Besides, my poetry teacher used to go on and on about how damn hard it is to craft a good piece of writing and that a great line, even buried in a bad poem/story/essay should always be praised and encouraged and admired. Because there are people out there who never write one great line, let alone several.
So, that's the kind of philosophy I've got. It sort of makes me think of the whole badfic Bunny Liberation thing, actually.
