Aw, man, not again! People! For the last fuckin' time, get this through to your heads:

TELLING CELEBRITIES ABOUT RPS OR RPH OR RPF IS NOT COOL!

"But -" No! I don't want to hear it. Aside from the very basic fact that you don't wake a sleeping dog, how about some respect for these people? How about showing that respect by not walking up to them and telling them about people's sexual/romantic fantasies starring them, in a fairly detailed way? Huh? Is that so hard? Why is that so hard? Bite your fucking tongue!

And doing it to the same person twice, even though he was clearly uncomfortable the first time? The fuck? The fucking fuck?

See, to me, it's not about "You're gonna get us all into trouble," if only becuase that would be really hipocrite of me. It's about being unable to grasp the immense, galaxy-sized stupidity of people thinking this kind of thing is "cool"! Just. I. WTF? Huh

I can't deal with this, honestly. I simply cannot wrap my brain around the idea that anyone would think it cool to actually go up to someone and tell them about your sexual fantasies about them.

Edit: I think Shine summed it up best:

Don't these stupid FUCKS know what they've done? Don't they UNDERSTAND? This isn't some stupid fucking game! This is someone's LIFE. This is someone who has to LOOK at JC afterwards. This isn't some fucking contest to see who can tell him the best, the funniest, the most often, the most shocking, the most explicit.

Very good point. Hadn't thought of that before, but yes. Having sexual fantasies about someone? Not illegal. Wrinting the fantasies down and sharing them with friends? Not necessarily illegal. Going up to them and telling them about your fantasies and then going back and doing it again even though they're clearly uncomfortable? Harassment.

Jesus Christ on a flaming donut, sometimes I really think fandom sucks all common sense out of people.

Re:

*shakes head* I'm still in complete disbelief about this. Not only about the people that did it, but all the people that applauded it. That think it's just funny and cool and wonderful, and HAHA Tony, and what do they think? That telling him you want him to be fucking JC is going to make him go "Oh. Huh. Yeah, that would be cool." I mean. I just. What?! What did they think this would accomplish, besides scaring/angering the hell out of people?

Re:

See, this is basically the same as the whole Ian McKellan thing. People just seem to forget that celebrities are people, too, and don't stop to think "Would I do this is this person wasn't in the public eye?" Because honestly, while anyone and everyone is free to have their fantasies about me and write RPS and whatnot about me, unless they're really really close friends, I'd rather not know about it, y'know?
