Eeeek. No. I can explain this.

JC invited Steven, his mentor (dude. the hair? the clothes? it's so obvious) over for dinner. JC's all nervous and worried that Steven won't accept his love for the dolphin, but Steven doesn't care, hell he vaguely remembers waking up naked in a the penguin habitat in the Boston Aquarium once, back in the heroin days. If JC and his life partner truly love each other, it's cool with him. So he kisses the lifepartner hello and JC sees this and is just beaming with happiness.
