Chat-In Countdown: 3 days!

Am feeling much more alive today. So alive, in fact, that I've written about 150 words of Pride on the train to Brussels, and I'm now two sentences into The Scene. The murder scene. My fingers are itching to write this so badly I can taste it. This scene. I can see it so clearly in my mind it's disturbing. The blood. The violence. The blood. The complete lack of sound. The twitching. Did I mention the blood? (I'm a sick puppy, I know.)

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
(Proverbs 16:18)

Now, if I can only keep Mr Mathers from turning ito Mush Man every time I turn my back. *kicks him* Bitch. You're angry and paranoid and vicious! Stop being all sugary over Fred and kill James like you're supposed to! Godfuckingdammit!

Also, dude, am I gonna need to do a shitload of editing on this thing. For one thing, there's the names. I'll need to go through and check every name mention and make sure I'm consistent in use of last names vs first names in the narrative. And then there's "Em" vs "Mathers" vs "Slim" vs "James'/the bitch". And I noticed this morning the damn thing changed tenses on me in at least two seperate scene. Bitcheeees! I pity my betas.

Ahem. Will shut up now. Will talk about touchy boylove of the non-jail variety. Because oh, for the love of god, go look at the cute! oiqsdfmlkqsjdfkkjqsdhjhlkjh Sir Iiiiiaaaan! They'resocute!

Also, because [livejournal.com profile] minette asked this a few days ago, Things That Make Me Happy, in no particular order:

  • You;
  • You;
  • All of you;
  • Fannishness, in all its incarnations;
  • Touchy boyloooooove! :D
  • Writing;
  • Reading good stories;
  • My brothers;
  • My parents;
  • My faith.
slrdkgjqeportulksdgjlkmjHELPMEEEEEEE!

Things I want: one, two, three.

And now, we work!

Forget Sir Ian, I'm completely overwhelmed by the Orlando lust. My head is just all Orlando, all the time these days.
