I'm not writing it. Really. I'll stick to fictional characters and thinly disguised versions of acquaintances.Ahahahaha!

Bla bla bla more RPS debate ... Grmpf, somone demanding "blatant huge warnings" if RPF is to be posted. Um, honey, the fandom should be warning enough. I wish I'd have been more verbose and experienced when this happened. Still, a good experience compared to the other RPF discussions I've been in.
*more* Also, it would serve you well to get your listmum's name right. Armelle, not Arnelle.
... Okay, this might not be as calm and decent a discussion as I remembered. Well, it was calm and decent, but looking back, I see a lot of false logic and ditto facts. Hm.

natlet's first post on 26 January 2000! :D
And dude, my big combined reply post? So much more snippy and bitter than I remember. Whoopsie.
Also, there's some people being a lot more open-minded and pro-RPS in this discussion that they later turned out to be. *frown?*
... Can you tell I have an hour and fifteen minutes left, there's something wrong with the Petty Cash, and I really don't want to have to figure this out?
Whine.

FWIW, I mentioned this little brouhaha to a friend who's in the cartoon biz and he claims that you have a better chance of getting sued for defamation of fictional characters than of real people, 'cos studios have whole gangs of lawyers whose sole purpose is to protect their intellectual property, whereas most celebrities don't. In his words, you'd get sued faster for writing smut about Mickey Mouse than about Walt Disney (a mental image you all needed, I'm sure!))
