My firstborn is turning three. No, not my first child, my first list. RareSlash, which started out as my little corner of the big sandbox that was fandom, was started three years ago on Tuesday.

My baby.

God, I was young back then. Barely eighteen. Inexperienced and young and naive, and you know what? That naivity made a damn good list. The warnings/labels debate, the RPS debate, the memories of huge fandoms started on that very list, everything. I may be off the list, but I still love it.
