  • Caffeine-withdrawal headache is gone now, thanks to coffee.
  • Have new user picture, because felt like it, and also because with ever-changing hair colour, pictures of head are outdated faster than boysband-du-jour.
  • U2 book self borrowed from Steve is evil.
  • So is kat, who is making self want to slash Hanson. Evil. Evil, evil, evil. Nuff said.
  • Took this test, came up with following results:

    You live in a House.
    You're married to Nette.
    You drive a Beetle.
Your car is the color Blue.
You live in the state UK.
    Your honeymoon is Hawai.
    Your occupation is a Writer.
You have this many kids: 9 (7 male; 2 female).
*eyes Nette* You okay with all that? Oddly enough, this doesn't sound at all bad. Marrying Nette would be cool. :) If have to have car, a blue Beetle is nice. Considering way this country is headed, by time am 30, it'll be split into Flandria and Walloon, and willl be outta here for sure, so UK sounds plausible enough. Hawai! *squeal* And yeah, am writer. Kids, though, am not so sure about. Those poor girls!
  • There is entry in other journal, about why there will be no stories for while.
  • Am entirely appaled at this. Want to kill certain terapists. Assholes. Am so glad was allowed to exorcise demons on my own and never got sent to therapist. Fucking idiots! And also, idiotic parents looking for quick fix for problems that may very likely not have a fix. Goddamn fucking bitches! Yes, of course, the way to make a 10-yo girl with a history of abuse bond with her adoptive mother is to wrap her up really tight, make her hurt, make her fear for her life, tell her to die, and basically just fucking abuse her all over again. Jesus! Note how I said 'make' and not 'help', because what these people did was not 'help' at all. And, as stresskitten pointed out, if she hadn't died, they'd have just gotten away with it, too. Am now wondering what world is coming to. Have strong urge to go to parents' and hug brother and make his entire life okay again so the he's-living-my-life-all-over-again thing is stopped right then and there. Fucking. [More ranting here, because I'm in that sort of mood.]

  • Am actually really starting to like 'vercci' as synonym for 'evil'. Am going to start to use it. Blame Nette.
  • Rox is easily pleased. <g> Anyone else want a cream-covered Draco? They're on sale today.
  • Today is first day of experiment to see if can stop periods altogether. Wish me luck.
  • Going for food now.

"Have new user picture, because felt like it, and also because with ever-changing hair colour, pictures of head are outdated faster than boysband-du-jour."

LOL, welcome to my world. I used to draw a comic strip every day in high school and I had to go from color to black and white simply 'cause it was such a pain in the ass to change my hair every few days.

Which reminds me, didn't you at one point mention you were getting a Keenspace account? What happened to that?

[Also, must go buy hair dye tomorrow. Redness is entirely too faded.]

Yeah, I got one. Haven't done anything with it yet. ::glares at Tiney:: Will do soon ^_^

Hey, don't rush, I've not done anything with my account, either. :)

Survey says!

You live in a House.

So far, I'm doing okay with this. Houses are very instrumental to my happiness, Melle. I suspect they are to yours, as well.

You're married to Nette.

Hey, we've been married for months now! Have you forgotten me already? You faithless wretch, you have another woman, don't you? Don't you? *sniffle* You'd better have one helluva make-up present to calm my frazzled nerves. ;)

You drive a Beetle.

Wicked! I love the Beetle. It's so small and bubble-shaped. It's a car you can hug, basically.

Your car is the color Blue.

Blue is my favorite color, so this is one eerily accurate prediction. Blue cars are wonderfully, shiny, happy things to watch when you're on the road. You've got great taste, Melle.

You live in the state UK.

So we have a long-distance relationship?

Your honeymoon is Hawai.

Sun, surf, and sand? I'm am so there! Let's, like, see if we can catch a gnarly wave, dude.

Your occupation is a Writer.

I knew you would be. So far, this thing isn't telling you anything you, or I, don't know.

You have this many kids: 9 (7 male; 2 female).

Ack! Dear Lord, imagine the chaos in the house. Plus, two girls with seven boys = lots of fighting, crying, and punching out of boyfriends when said girls are in high-school. Pass the aspirin, please.

Am actually really starting to like 'vercci' as synonym for 'evil'. Am going to start to use it. Blame Nette.

*beam* I'm proud of that one, actually. I take full responsibility for it. I can't use it because it'll never occur to me to use it, but I'm pleased as punch that it's in your vocabulary now. Who says idiotic Free Speechers aren't useful in their own, twisted way?

Why you don't want a blue car.

My mother had what she thought was a cute little light blue car. By the time we got rid of it (we couldn't entice anyone to buy it with a classified ad, so we gave it to one of my brother's friends for the price of a smog check), it had been in eleven accidents. Yes, you read right. Eleven. Light blue cars just fade into the background, and people don't notice them, so they do things like back right into them.

Re: Why you don't want a blue car.

Dang it, that's no good. What if I get a dark blue car? Wouldn't that cut down on the accidents?

Re: Why you don't want a blue car.

Erm, it might. On the other hand, dark colors aren't all that great either. I was driving the car in one of those eleven accidents, and I backed into a black car at night without even seeing it.

Re: houses -- Eh. I'm just as happy in a flat, but houses are good, too.

Re: marriage -- Duh, I knew that, that's why i entered your name in there in the first place!

Re: cars -- Yay, I hoped you'd like it.

Re: living in the UK -- I think the point is that you'd be living there as well. :)

Re: kids -- *passes aspirin*

Re: vercci -- I have a freaky brain. <g>

"No thanks, there's gotta be a reason I only went through birth once..."

Only in America...and only in Colorado, would something that fucked up come to be seen as even tolerable, much less acceptable. I don't know what that little girl did need, but it sure as hell wasn't that 'rebirthing' bullshit. People are getting so desperate that they'll try anything to make their kids conform to what they want...sure, we'll just completely break her down with abuse and mental torture and build her up right (sorry, guys, that's what the Army's for).

Fuck that.

Re:

This is the exact same attitude that is causing all those school shootings. Children are thaught to scorn everything that is different, and to force everyone to act the way you want them to act. Which is why geeks get pushed to the breaking point, and why they take up guns to make others act the way they want 'em to act for once.

It's just so very, very disturbingly wrong. :(
