Re: Your "fees and taxes"

Since I'm gonna have to get up Real Fucking Early if I want to get the flight that gets me to London early enough to actually be able to spend some time with Sae and Zed, do you think you could maybe not have the fees and charges exceed the actual ticket price?

I'm seriously considering if maybe taking a DAT flight and not having to get up a fuck-o'-clock in the morning, not to mention flying into London itself, and out from Brussels itself, wouldn't be worth it.

You fuckers,

Disgruntled.

Actually, when a friend of mine flew in from London, I had to go and pick him up at the heavily misnamed "Brussels South" Charleroi Airport...
It's theoretically feasible to go there by train, although I can't at the moment remember the exact time. You could always check the NMBS site for hours, and there is a bus service from Charleroi station to the airport.
Do not expect the buses to have to come exactly at the time given, though - mine took me on a scenic tour through the Industrial Park twice.

Re:

Yeah, there's also a bus going from Brussels, which takes about 30 mins to get there, last time I took it. However, it goes about two and a half hours before the flight, which means I'd have to be in Brussels at 5:30, which means I'd have to leave in Antwerp at 4:30 at the very latest, possibly earlier, except I don't even think there's any trains at that time. I'd have to ask my folks to drive me. >_<

As for the "Brussels South" thing, yes. You wouldn't believe the number of people who show up at Zaventem looking for their Ryanair flight. Le sigh.

Ick, that's early. Especially considering you'll be walking round Nodnol quite a bit and not even getting to Slimelight until 10 at the earliest.

Eurostar might prove cheaper - it cost me £65 to get from Ashford to Brussels, and I booked a day before travelling - it would be cheaper a couple of weeks earlier, methinks. It takes longer than a flight, but you only need to check in 20 mins in advance, methinks.

Re:

Yeah, I think Eurostar was the next cheapest option, but that'd mean three hours of travelling, so I'd either have to get up real early as well, and/or be there later. I'm thinking Virgin or DAT flight.
