Pages read in Lord Of The Rings: 520 (Yes, still. I kinda got caught up with other things, y'see. See below.)
So yesterday I go to bed at half past two, and yeah, that's late, but it's not unusual for me, but as soon as my head hits the pillow, literally, Aragorn starts talking to me. So, um. I appear to have written some Aragorn/Boromir. Sort of, anyway. I can't even write rugged warrior sex, no, it's all Mr King here lamenting his lost over, mutter grumble.
Kill me?
Hm, it appears Mr McGregor agrees with a lot of us in that Orlando Bloom is smoochable indeed. (And who could blame him with the boy looking like this?) Anyone have pictures of said event? I'm sure I have a kidney to spare to chip in with Anna to pay for it.
How sad is it that I know most of my office's nominal codes (denominating which cost heading an invoice falls under) by heart? No, seriously, ask me! Travel and Subsistence? 88:59. Hospitality? 88:53. Telephone, Fax, etc? 88:55. I'm actually considering my mother's suggestion of a bookkeeping course, because um. This is fun. *hangs head in shame* Ten years and I'm still the same algebra geek I was when I started high school.
Dude! The second So What in a month! Awesome! And probably my last, since my metclub membership runs out half March, and after careful consideration, I've decided I just don't use it enough to be worth it. I'm still a Metallica fan, but I have better things to spend that $60 on, you know? Like buying more web space and bandwidth for hobbit porn. *snicker*
The issue that was waiting for me when I got back from WI had half naked!Lars on the cover. Quite a surprising thing to see first thing in the morning. This one has some v.v. nice pictures of Kirk and Lars on the cover and inside. (I'm such a slut for monochrome photography. Note to self: purchase role of b&w film and go photographing this week. Seriously.) There's one in particular of Lars being all serious and quiet. I'll see if I remember to scan it in at lunch break.
Heeeeehehehe. Lars teaching his kids how to swear. Oh, Uli. ^_^ But oh, they're talking about Jason. Must not read this in public. I'll get misty-eyed. Have to keep up appearances.
In other news, hotmail refuses to cooperate in the reading of my pop mail. Am mightily displeased and exploring other venues. Die, bitch, die!
Note to self: no more rambling posts on semi-controversial topics to any list, least of all LotR_RPS. You'll only end up making a fool of yourself because you don't think your word choice through. Sincerely, you.
Hmski. I think I might be done with finances half an hour ahead of plans. Which, of course, I shall spend on website design. Either mine, or make Lair of the Spork ready for public consumption.
... Or I could make hairbind icons. And maybe some wallpaper. Ang is gonna kill me for some of these.

Hairband icons: Weeeeeeeee again! I love the "sly bitch" one, heee!
$60 on metclub membership: R.E.M. fanclub is $10, and you get a christmas present, and first shot at tickets, should they tour. *strut* I [heart] my band.

Oooooooooh. *swoon* And where, pray tell, did you find that lovel tidbit? I'll willingly hand over one of my kidneys, too...
And that picture. *licks screen*
RuggedWarrior!Sex is always a happy thing.
o_0 They're talking about Jason? *refuses to ponder that one too hard*

Re: *perks up*
Yeah, and from what little I've read in SW, it's. Argh. Kirk, you fucker, shut the fuck up! You make me want to write fucked-up!James/Jason. And that's just wrong! I have enough fucked-up stories already, dammit.

I wasn't into Orlando, but then I watched Wilde and read "Tennessee," and now my reaction to him is, "Oh, yeah."
In my head: Viggo talking about how Elijah and Orlando are like twin suns around which the rest of them revolve.

I started writing it at work today, and we'll see if the mood stays long enough for me to finish it.

Orlando
I loved Wilde. Saw it ages and ages ago, for Ioan Gruffud doing the m/m thing (back when I was in Hornblower fandom), and of course there was the Jude factor. Sad story. And Orlando is a lovely bonus. Though I admit to not noticing him the first time.
And now I have a Viggo/Elijah/Orlando image in my head. Thanks, Ruth :).

Re: Orlando
I thought Wilde was rather forgettable. I was watching it mostly for Orlando and Zoe Wanamaker, and he's barely there and she wasn't half as wonderful in it as she was in Harry Potter. Jude Law has a really weird looking face. There's a lot of white space, and his features are all thin.

Re: Orlando
I'm also a fan of Stephen Fry, so unless he did a horrible job, I knew I'd love Wilde.
And you're right about Jude. Not to mention that he keeps playing utter bastards. But when I first saw Wilde, I had only seen Ripley once, and I was on that mad hunt for movies with the actors in them that I tend to get into after seeing a movie I like (such as renting A Walk On The Moon and Portrait Of A Lady today :))

Also, Now that I can pay attention to details, I do really really like him in the fight scenes. Me and my thing for archers. (Another thing for which to love PJ: he can film fight scenes with archers in them and not have them be boring or look clumsy.)
