Haven't done a survey in quite a while. So, since [livejournal.com profile] emmyfic asked here's ...

1. My Favourite Childhood Memory
2. Most Traumatizing High School (or thereabouts) Memory
3. Funniest Memory

1. This was the hardest question for me, because I don't relly remembre a lot from my early (say, before I was nine or ten years old) childood.

I guess it'd have to be the time I was ten, just finished writing a story, and went downstairs to show it to my mother. She said she liked it, and I was bursting with pride. I loved (and still love) the feling of being able to create something with words, to tell a story that came entirely out of my own head, and people would like it.

2. Second year of high school (the Belgian version; I was 14, you work out what that is in USA terms), without a doubt. I was bullied . Looking bak, objectively, it wasn't as bad as some of the other cases I've seen, but I was, at the time, a shy, timid girl, mortified and unable to do anything at all back, or to ignore them. I don't actually remember a lot ofthe incidents, prehaps because I've locked them away somewhere deep in my subconcious, but most likely becaus that wasn't the worst thing.

What I'll never forget is the time I cried in art class. I've never been someone who cries easily, let alone in public, but I just started bawling without being able to stop, and not one of my classmates, most of whom I'd known since I was six, did anything to help or comfort me.(Neither, btw, did the teacher; none of the teachers have ever done anything, except one.)

that feeling of complete and utter misery and betrayal is something I'll never forget.

3. Hm. Goes back to not so long ago, when my youngest brother was eleven, and when asked what he wanted to be for Carnaval (sort of kind of version of Halloween), said "A woman." Incredibly amusing and also v. precious. I hart my brother.
