There's been a break-in at the neighbours'. DVD player, stereo, gone. Door completely out of its hinges. As far asI can see, nothing's been stolen from me, which is freaky, because um. I never lock the door to my actual apartment. So maybe they have been in here, but decided a broken VCR, a second-hand TV, and a cheap computer weren't worth stealing.

There may have been strangers in my home. I'm feeling highly unsafe. (Of course, being practically accused by him didn't really help, especially since all I could think of was her saying "He doesn'tknow what he's doing," and she was trying to calm him down and shit. I locked my door from the inside. (The downstairs door lock is still broken. Not too scared of him anymore.) I've lived in the city for a year and a half, nearly, and I never felt unsafe, not in the darkest alleyways, but tonight I feel unsafe in my own home.)

(Edit: Oh god, just realised that if I hadn't gone to the parents today, and I wasn't plannin to until yesterday, I'd have been home when they came by! Shite.)

I can, but rarely ever do. See, if I had, my door'd been forced just like the neighbours'. Once you get past the front door downstairs, these flimsy locks aren't much use, you know, and there'd just be more costs.
