well, you have to sort of steer it in the direction of people who sound like they're interested in things you're interested in. I wandered around for a bit in a small circle of friends, saw "inflames" (which is a heavy metal band) and clicked that, metalgrrl (more heavy metal), obsequious and that_girl sounded familiar and I know closeyoureyes has me listed as friend, so ha! home free.
