I'm glad you think so. And I hope you'll enjoy the story.

(Incidentally, we must discuss details of Christmas Shopping et Slimelight in December. Have booked tickets.)

Oh, I will. I'm sure of it.

(Otay. When do you arrive in Nodnol, do you know?)

Re:

I don't know, since I'll be taking the train down from um. Wherever it is I'm going. (Heh.) I'll try to get there as early as possible, maybe? Somewhere before noon at least.

My train home leaves at 10:14 on Suday.

Re:

:) Norfolk.

Well, it takes me a while to get from Canterbury to London, and due to the long night ahead of us, I don't want to get up too early. How about 12.30? Same place as last time (cafe on second floor of Border's Books on Oxford Street?) I know Camden is our real destination, but it's got some impressive record stores (Oxford Street, not Borders) and there's a sex shop there (well, on Charing Cross road, which is a short walk away) which has some groovy vinyl clothing, but I'm always too scared to enter it on my own.

Leaving time is fine. I'll probably get meself out of there at about 8am, if that's all right by you, as I'll be knackered and will need to stay awake on the way back. (Bryn, in all likelihood, won't accompany us after all.)

By the way, do you want to do anything more cultural this time? See any museums / art galleries / sights?

Re:

Thank you. I have the memory of a gnat.

Sure, 12:30 sounds good. Train would take about 2 hours to get to London, plus time to get to the youth hostel, drop off my stuff, freshen up and go to Border's, means getting up at maybe 8:30. Perfect.

Woohoo! Sex shop! :D

Sounds fine with me. I'm a bit eh about spending money on a youth hostel, but I really want a place to put my stuff and take a shower and all between shopping and Slimelight. Eight AM would be time enouh for me to quickly shower and change again before hitting the train. :)

Re:

Youth hostel: yeah, it is a bit of a waste, but lugging stuff around London for several hours is also a drag. I think they're only about twelve pounds for a night, though . . . that said, they're not the securest places in the world, so I don't advise leaving anything too valuable there. If you have anything valuable, I advise leaving it in a locker at a station, which I don't think costs much. (Am surprised you can still do this, after bomb scares, but apparently you can.)

Re:

Hm. I'm not sure how valuable my stuff would be, but I remember wtaying in youth hostels in Paris and Italy and leaving my Eurocheques with the people at the counter for safekeeping. Wouldn't that be a possibility?

Anyway, I think the most valuable thing I own at the moment (that I could actually take with me to Nodnol) is my minidisk, and it's completely battered and worn, do unless I buy really expensive stoof in Camden, I'll be fine.

Re:

Probably. I got given a flier yesterday about some really good youth hostels. I meant to send you the URL on it, but I'm not sure where it is. Will check my bag and places tomorrow morning.

And if you buy expensive stuff in Camden, you're more than likely to wear it to Slimelight, right?

Re:

Okay. I have to book my hotel in Norfolk still, and I'm loking into youth hostels in london m'self.

True, for the most part. Am planning to buy stuff for the family and friends too, though.
