On day, I am going to get a piece of electronics that will come with all the drivers it's supposed to come with, will do exactly what the manual says it should do, and work on the first try.

And on that day, Satan will skate to work.

Apparently, the hard disk burned through. Will be at least a few more days before I get the puter. Dammit. why me? I literally have not a single computer-related item that didn't come with huge problems. The computer itself, the new computer, the modem (no drivers!), the printer (ditto), the soundcard (issues with coexisting with the usb card), the webcam (doesn't webcam, which hopefully will turn out to be merely a RAM problem).

Damn, that's really a bummer. For a new system, it sure did come with a lot of problems. Who did you buy it from?

I don't actually have the new computer yet. :) The one I have now is a write-off from work. Webcam, etc. were all purchased seperately. And all of them had problems.

Sorry, I'm retarded. Just missed that key sentence there. I'm sure you're damn excited about getting a new computer then. I hope you have better luck with it than you do that toilet of silicon, copper, and plastic youre using right now.

That's okay. :) And yeah, I hope so, too. 1Ghz, 20Mg HD, 290 (?) K RAM, ... I'll actually be able to surf the net and listen to music at the same time! Oh, and my webcam'll work! And stuff.

(Current puter: 133Mhz, 3Mg, 64k RAM. Um.)
