So. Um. A bunch of us with femgeeks email addies haven't been getting y!groups email in a few days. Since non-femgeeks people were fine, I email your-site's (our host) support addy.

For the past few days, None of the people with email addresses
@femgeeks.net have been receiving any mail from yahoogroups mailing
lists. Since other people aren't having these problems, the problem is
on this end. Do you know what the problem could be?

Sofie,

Due to a HUGE ammount of email from yahoogroups we have (Temporarily?)
banned incoming mail from yahoogroups. We suggest viewing the groups on
the yahoo website as it is very easy and won't clutter your mailbox.

I'm sorry for any inconveinence. If you have any furthur questions
please feel free to contact us.

Is it at all possible to re-enable this for specific accounts? A lot of
us simply cannot afford to read all our list mail online.

I sincerely hope this is only temporary and is resolved quickly, and
that next time this sort of measure has to be taken, we will be informed
about it. This is not the sort of service I'm used to from your-site,
and frankly, it's not the sort of service I'm paying for.

That was 5-10 minutes ago. I sent it highest priority. And now, I'm suddenly getting list mail from y!groups. Gee, ya think this is a coincidence? :D (Have not, as of yet, had a reply to the actual support email. I wonder what they have to say for themselves. :)

Moral of the story: I kick me some serious ass.
