Bush is probably happy as hell right now... this means he gets to attack somebody! And he will. Even if they don't learn who, we'll attack somebody and put the blame there.
That's exactly what I think and fear.

...that's what they wanted wasn't it... not to kill thousands... but to kill millions... both through their actions and the retaliations... they had to have known that. -_-

Bush, contrary to popular opinion, is NOT a complete idiot. He is a human being, and he has a heart. It highly offends me for anyone to suggest, even jesting, that he is happy because of this.

The people he works with are also intelligent compassionate people.

What we really need to fear is generalizations, assumptions, and blame. I've heard that taxi-cab service has been brought to a halt in NYC, because the majority of the drivers are Muslim and/or from the middle east. And they're afraid that people will turn on them. Just because of their race and religion.

That is the scariest part of this country's reaction.

See a few entries back. The email I got. That, to me, is a reaction that I think a lot of people in America are going to have. Including, probably, Bush. They will want revenge. I fear they will get it.

Well, to some degree, revenge is warranted. Whatever government entity or terrorist organization responsible, needs to be held as such. I don't go along with the whole "annihilation of the responsible country" bit, because then our nation would be no better than the heartless fucks who caused this incident in the first place. Just because the leaders of a particular nation are evil, doesn't necessarily mean the people are, nor does it mean they support those actions. I don't know the best way to handle this, but to go in dropping bombs left and right and destroying everything in sight is most definitely not it.
