Woooo!

I'm back. In the last 58 hours, I have:

1. flown with Ryanair.
2. had a 45-minutes discussion about fanfic with my coworker R.
3. heard said coworker utter the words:

   >Watership down -- You loved the film, now eat the cast.

4. sat in a stupid airconditioned aurditorium not listening to speeches and (re)writing stories.
5. proven my complete and utter incapability to get drunk. 1.5 glass of wine + 0.5 glass of whyskey + 2 pints of Guinness = utterly unaffected Melle. I was surprised myself; usually I'm at least giddy after that. Hm.
6. talked to a nice Irish lad who used to work here in the early Nineties. He was talking about how all the people who worked here at the time were invited to the opening of a strip club in the metro station downstairs. The food was apparently very good, and for a time it was a regular office hangout. Huh. He also told me a very weird and funny U2-related story, but more on that later.
7. sat in the auditorium some more. Wrote some more. Got annoyed with muses.
8. drafted design for femgeeks main page and personal site update.
9. talked to an aweful lot of people. Hey self, what happened to being shy and quiet?
10. did not get online at all until now. Am proud of self.
11. been friendified by two new people (closeyoureyes and liviapenn). Wheee!
