So I went to watch the football match with Linz. (And that's real football, btw, no that wimped out version of rugby you USAians call football.) England vs Italy. 1-2 because James is a bloody idiot of a keeper.

Ahem. Sometimes I forget I don't, in fact, watch football. Or know anything about it. Whatever. Observations:

  • Touchy boylove! :D Dude, they kept touching each other on the lower back, and the nape of the neck, and hugging and squeezing and eeee! I was having conniptions.
  • I hart David Beckham. He has beautiful eyelashes. And he needs to be slashed. Preferably with barthez, who is now keeper for Man U, and was played for France during the 98 World Cup, during which I completely and utterly fell for him. (And then proceeded to slash him with whatsisname, the captain of the France team who always kissed B's head before every game.) So, yeah. Beckham/Barthez? Anyone? I'd love you forever.
  • If you need inspiration, here's some. =D
  • Have finally figured out who Larry looks like in this picture. Becks! It's Becks! *laughs hysterically* Larry is David Beckham! :D
  • Larry/Becks? Ooooh! O_O

And on that loverly thought, I'm going to hit the sack.

I am dead. Incredibly busy day at work, hence the fact that I'm only taking my actual lunch break now, and my back is killing me!

    Ow.

*types in Lust* *stares at three lines* *cringes*

Oookay, note to self, this is prison, not second grade. "I'd like to be your friend"? No, no, and no!

(Edit: Oh, god, this whole bit is the most awkward dialogue I've ever written. My poor betas!)

(Edit 2: That, on the other hand, was a good bit. And that phrase back there was good, too. Dammit, why can't it all suck so I wouldn't need/want to go through it with a fine comb to save the good bits? Argh!)

(Edit 3: Back is screaming bloody murder, but if I can just finish Sloth and Pride now, I can print them off to proofread and edit on the way home. Just half an hour is all I neeeeeed!)

You know, editing is both the worst and the best part of writing. Worst, because the damn thing is done, and I just want to run it through a spellcheck and post it all and be done with it already, before I decide it sucks bunnies and can't be saved and delete it in a fit of something. Best, because it's done, and now I can concentrate on actually making it look its best, and bringing out the good story I know is hidden beneath the stupid mistakes and issues.

However, I must say, after about a gazillion repetitions of "bitch", the word kind of starts to lose its meaning.

    That survey thingamajig.

    1. Who was the first author you read in NSlash?
I honestly couldn't say. I think helen and/or Syncronick, but don't hold me to it.

    2. What was the first story you read, if you remember that?
No idea. The first I remember was Stay The Night, because I read that on the exact moment I turned twenty.

    3. What was your initial reaction to slash? To NSYNC? To NSlash?
Slash: "Oooh, erotica! And oh! Cooper! Nathan! Noooo!" *sound of a breakig heart* *sniffle* "... More!"
Nsync: "Ack! Nooo! Evil psrkly dancing boys! Stay away from meee!" (Not in a serious way, btw.)
Nslash: "Help! why am I reading this? Why am I still reading this? Somebody stop meeeee!"

    4. Who is your "favorite"?
Chris. With Joey and Justin sharing a very very very close second place.

    5. What is your OneTruePairing? (GSF counts)
TimberToneTrick! And in the crossover departement, JuNi and AJoey.
