Reunion Countdown: 24 days
No Longer A Pedophile Countdown: 189 days

Got a sarcastic reply from the TBF Drama Queen. She's getting one back. I think I was finally pushed too far, and thanks to some wonderful people (you know who you are) I've finally realised that just because two people I admired a lot brushed me aside as a frothing-at-the-mouth fundie revolutionary, that doesn't mean I am. Or so I hope.

See, I've always been brought up with the principle that if you can't defend your point of view without resulting in mouth-frothing and name-calling and fits, then you've basically lost the discussion. So yeah, when I was told that's what I'm like, I lost my drive, for a while. It seems to be back. :) But, um, if I even actually dissolve into that in a discussion, will someone smack me? Hard? For my own good, you see.

And you know, attitude aside, I seriously want her to answer my question. I want to know if she really thinks she's being "associated" with RPS by people linking to her. So i'm going to play my favourite game and stay calm and collected and make rational arguments while the other side (most likely) gets irrational and emotional. :)

I'm a bitch. Also, I want to give her a lecture on the proper behaviour of an arachivist, and on how an archive is not her personal preaching ground, and. Stuff. Wheefun!

On a semi-related note, holy FUCK! People are actually using the FMO? o_O Okay, update is needed, stat! Because, yes. Whoa. I mean, that thing is. It's like an artefact, really, from the time when RPS was only just coming out into the open, when people were starting to sy "Fuck you, I'm not hiding." Before that, there were idividuals taking a stand (most notably, the swans) but fandom at large seemed to sort of accept the fact that RPS = the devil at face value. I can't remember it being discussed at all before that, it was just one of these universal truths that most everyone just accepted without questioning. And that started changing, and I rode that first wave with RS-X and everything, and wrote the FMO, and then didn't touch it for a year and a half, and now look at it! All ancient and stuff. Must rewrite!

Oh, and there is not a peep from U2Bubblegum, either from the writer or from anyone else. Hmpf. Dammit, I want to start a kernuffle, here! *stomps foot* Mutter. Why does Ruth always get to be the diabolical one, while I can't even start a small kernuffle about plagiarism? *sulk*

Today is gonna be a long day. Stupid formal dinner this evening. Blah! Blah, I say, blah! I may have to console myself by rewriting the FMO today. Or at least re-drafting. Drafting the rewrite. Whatever. Or maybe I'll work on my reccs page. Yeah. That'll do.

Ahahahaha! Wooo! French slash! Now, see, maybe that's the way to brush up on my French. :D Hint, hint.

*wants H&lG slash*

*is on crack*

Melle: And this.
Zarya: mmmguh.
Melle: This is my Day Dream AU picture. Where Chris is a psychology student, and Joey is a frat boy, and JC is this whacky Canadian art student, and Justin is a freshman, all nervous and shy around Chris, and Lance is a snarky business major.
*holds head* How screwed-up is is that my favourite boyband fantasy involves them all being smart, and I finds this hot as sin?
Zarya: *giggle*
It is hot.
And um. *thinks* Dude, yes. with the hotness. oh. brain.
Melle: And Justin is in college on a bastketball scholarship, and needs Chris' help to keep his grades up enough to stay. (andthentheyhavesex) And Joey and Chris have this fuckbuddies arrangement, but that ends when Justin and Chris become serious, and Joey finally gets up the courage to say something to JC, and Lance just rolls his eyes and says "I'm living in a gay soap opera!"
[...]
Melle: But I'm not sure about Joey as a frat boy. I think actually he's more of an art student.
Zarya: I kind of agree, there. He's got that inner sensitivity thing goin' on.
Melle: And he was into acting and all long before NSync.

So I get this little message thingy through Nethail, from Cindy, my coworker, saying "Tea, anyone?"

I cklick it away, as I don't drink tea. Apparently, my boss agrees, because three seconds later, I see "No thanks, Tea is evil." pop onto my screen.

(Edit: Bwahahaha! Ramon just piped in with "Yeah, 'magic' as in 'black magic spawned in the nether regions of hell'." God, I love these people. :D)

Does anyone know where I could find the original to this picture? Please? Rather urgent.
ChrisPuppet says: Share your dreams! So, since I'm bored, I am once again in the College AU )
For those of you who care: I have finished Lust. *dances* Got struck by inspiration, and got so carried away that I sat in my end station for ten minutes, writing, rather than risk losing that final scene on the way home.

Oh, and thanks for the encouragement and advice about the college AU. Definitely going on my To Write list!

*reads friends page* Lance. Space. Huh.

For what it's worth, I wish him the best of luck. He may not be my favourite *Nslash character, but I like the boy, and it's nice to see people live out their dreams. It gives me hope for mine. :)

As for the repercussion ... If this is not the nd of *NSync, great. If it is, I think that's great, too. JC will go on writing songs no one gets but everyone loves (random thought: JC is the Bob Dylan of pop!), Justin will pull a Robbie Williams, maybe Joey will go persue his acting dream, or go solo, and Chris will always land on his feet, the little fu-elf. :)

(Edit: Um, Chris? Chrisoffer? Mr Kirkpatric? My fu-elf, my man, owner of the FKA? If you cover the Sex Pistols, I may have to marry you. Or at least buy a gazillion tickets and follow you around and offer you my young, nubile, vigin body. Please?)

And if it's the end of the fandom ... whatever. I'm the eternal fandom hopper, here, people. I'll feel wistful for it, but in the end I'll find a new obsession-du-jour. The first two fandoms I was really in were about long-defunct shows. The third was Metallica, which my favourite member left nearly a year ago now. I'll get ovre it, and so will you.

*hugs the fandom* :)

(Edit: And I swear on my brother's head, the music on this entry was completely coincidental!)
