Thought #1: Axl is a slut.
Thought #2:Duff is also a slut.
Then I combined Thought #1 and Thought #2, and got a bunny. Takes place circa 1991, or whenever the tour with Metallica was. (Because then I can incorporate the Jason/Duff smut I want to write! :D And dude, what is it with me writing Jason/GnR members, anyway? Oh! I could maybe make The Wall a part of this! Or sommat! :D Wooo, I rule!)
So. Axl and Duff have lots of sex with people. They sleep with most of Metallica, half of the road crew, lots of groupies, of course, and the rest of the band. Except, and here's the crux, each other. ^_^ Because with everyone else, it's a one-time opportunity thing, but they both know the other is gonna be there and willing to have sex at any time.
So there's gonna be lots of (implied and explicit) sex in there, because it's that time of the month where I say "Screw plot, screw angst, screw character development, I want to write about pretty boys touching each other in sexy, romantic ways." So, sex. Axl/Izzy, Axl/Slash, Duff/Jason, Duff/Izz, Kirk/Lars (because hey! it's a crossover, so the other boys should get some intra-band lovin' as well! ^_^), etc.
And then comes Montreal. James walks into the flame, gets carted off to the hospital, and because Axl is a fucking bitch, riots erupt and Jason, Lars and kirk cannot get to the hospital to see James. Lars is panicking/ranting, Kirk is withdrawing into himeself, and Jason is trying to keep them together, calming Lars, soothing Kirk. When they finally do get to the hospital, there will be a touching reunion, and some James/Jason-ness. Oh yes.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Duff is angry at Axl, yelling about diva's and stuff, and Axl is taking it all in quietly, because he knows he could've stopped the riots, but he didn't want to go onstage and risk an accident himself, and he's fucking SORRY already, okay? Andthentheyhavesex. And um. There may be some mushiness in there as well.
So, yeah. There's my bunny.
BUT!
There is Blissfic in my inbox.
*whimper*
Let the record show that yesterday's post was not, I repeat, not in any way complaint about people being "above" me or anything. Cause I know they're not. I know I'm always afraid to talk to the good/popular authors, but that's my problem and certainly not theirs.
So, yeah. Just clearing that up here. I said this a few months ago, when this kernuffle first emerged: from where I stand, none of the people being accused of cliquishness actually are cliquish, or feeling better than the rest.
(Edit: Um, that sounds defensive. I wrote it when my main emotion was "Oh shit, I didn't start this, did I?" And I'm still wondering if I did. Or helped.)
