I appear to have written a U2 snippet. Odness est. Hidden behind one of these link thingies for those of you with no interest in slash.
Early morning, the sun's just coming up, and he's staring. Staring at them, the way they look together. They fit so perfectly.Feh. I don't know what to think of it.He gets up to leave, but a hand on his arm stops him.
"Stay' Edge is looking up to him, a strange emotion in his eyes.
Larry shakes his head. "This isn't my place."
"We could make it yours."
"We?" he asks, looking at the still-sleeping singer.
"Yes, we. We've talked about this, you know."
"You did? I thought ..."
"You thought last night was just a drunk, one-off thing?" " ... Yeah."
"It wasn't. Stay?"
So he stays.

In other U2 news, I have to make you a tape of a bunch of the songs off my bootlegs. Bono changes a line of "Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around the World" on the Paris CD to something totally slashy. I will post it in my LJ. :-)

Ignore the last comment. I think I was drunk at the time. Or conscious. Same difference. ;P

The only thing about U2 slash is that, my mom's boss is all buddy-buddy with Bono, what with shared causes and such (Tony's a prominent figure in the, er, faith community?). After hearing his stories about the guys all pulling out their Bibles to ask questions about scriptiure backstage in Philadelphia and the praying and whatnot, and then remembering Tony's arguments with his wife about 'Homosexuality and Christianity' (his wife is cool, I talked with her for hours about it, she's the polar opposite of the Southern Baptists I grew up with *bleah*), slashing U2 feels... weird.
Feh, that's never stopped me before. ^_^ *slashes away*
