Anyway, as you can probably tell, this is a "totally off the subject but" type o' comment:
When I get to Belgium, in case I ever have to communicate with people on my own, what language(s) do people speak in Antwerp? My encyclopaedia sez Flemish is official there, but it also lists "Flemish, French, Dutch, German" as official languages for Belgium. (Not that that really helps, as je ne parle pas la (le?) franEeks indeedly, and I hope you enyojed Greenwich Village. (I thought Greenwich was in England? Oh yes, I remember, those Americans steal everything.)

My mother sez that whatever language she spoke, people refused to undertstand her . . .
