So, er, I'm thinking of writing Zombie Apocalypse Darkfic.
"Weren't you trying to finish that Wing!fic thing?"
I got distracted. Shut up.
"Okay, fine, I'll bite: Zombie Apocalypse what now?"
Holy crap, it's zombies! Hide under your desk (fucking joke) in the basement! Dr Insano's latest experiment goes horribly wrong, and zombies start swarming the earth. Some of the survivors try to make their way to Arizona after discovering a strange message on the interet. And somewhere, someone may even be working on a cure ...
"Wait, doesn't this (tiny!) fandom already have an apocalypse!fic?"
Well, yes, but this one has zombies, which makes it entirely different. Also, it's darkfic, which there isn't any of in the fandom yet, and which I love, and which I'm hoping to encourage others to write by writing some myself. (Look, I'm going through a rough patch here, and dark!fic (with a reasonably happy ending, preferably) is my comfort fic of choice, so shaddup.)
On the plus side, I already have a handful of scenes in my head for this, and the setup, and I'm sure it wouldn't take more than a bit of brainstorming to get most of the kinks (... hee!) worked out. On the minus side, I suspect this may turn epic. Crappity. And I foresee a fair bit of trouble trying to work out the Spoony/Linkara/Dr Insano thing. :/
I suppose I could take the easier, shorter route and write that crossdressing fic I had a vague bunny for, but that's really just a transparent excuse to put the Critic in a miniskirt, and I don't know if a "plot" that flimsy will give me enough time to actually work my way up to the porn. And sadly, I don't know that this is the right fandom for me to finally realise a lifelong (... okay, not quite that long) ambition and write or get someone to write a historical AU set in Ancient Rome to offset all the Regency/Medieval AUs.
Also, hey, on another note, would people be interested in a drabblethon/drabble exchange/anon kink meme for this fandom, or are we still too small for that? I mean, it could work as a recruiting tool, I suppose.

Yaye! There may be a lot of death, if only because I'm not really familiar enough with a lot of the people on the site to write them properly in a fic like this, and there will definitely be a lot of woobiness because I'm like that. Unfortunately, with the latter, I'm with the Supernatural fandom and when we go dark, we go dark and so I don't trust myself to write dark stuff for anything else.

pyrocrastinator and I were going to do a drabble exchange (she'd write one, I'd write another continuing the story) but then I got sucked into Shakespeare. I'm totally still up for a drabble exchange/drabblethon/etc. (Hasn't this whole thing thus far been a giant kink meme? Hee.)

Is this part of the "canon" I should be catching up on? (Because this is totally my big source of flailing about this fic -- I feel like I barely have a grasp on the "canon" of the characters ("characters"?) whose vids i've actually watched (mostly -- I havent'y watched all of Spoony's stuff), let alone the rest. Which is most of them. And I keep thinking the "cast" of this one is gonna need to be bigger than who I'm familiar with. :/

Honey, I'm so dang busy right now that I can barely find the time to get online to glance over my comments.
