The thing about DMs is, because they last so damn long, some time between new pairs, I always forgot how painful it is to break in a new pair. Owie. :(
Work is busy. I’m nevertheless busy playing pretty flash-based games. My favourites are Winterbells (current high score: 2,845,220) and Bubble Bees (Current high score: 9,000-odd). Warning: do not click on that link if you don’t have at least an hour to lose.

1) If you had the option would you prefer fame and recognition for another bodypart such as your elbows? Knees? Or ear-folding ability/somesuch?
Hm, well, in terms of vanity, I think my legs could use some more loving — although Mags will probably tell me they’d get more love if I flaunted them more often, but whatever. My fabulous legs, let me show you them!
In terms of being famous for something less overtly sexual … not really. I mean, I’ve pondered this, obviously, but when it comes right down to it, I have no shame, and fuck it, this is my flashing my breasts at other women — I’m not saying that makes it a Feminist Action or Empowerful or whatever, but it doesn’t make it anti-feminist, I don’t think, and I don’t care about any of the other implications. Plus, as I said, no shame. :D
2) Good news, you find a lamp with a genie inside. Bad news is the genie is Justin Lee Collins and he can only give you one wish. Slightly better news is that one wish is he will Bring Back ANY TV show you desire for one whole season - what’s your show?
Space: Above and Beyond. Because it was my first fandom, and Fox fucking cancelled it (as they do), and I want a damn resolution already, dammit! :(
3) OMG CANON - which is more satisfying, the feeling of a long-shot never-going-to-happen and YAY IT DOES or the hedge-bet, played safe OTP simply because it’s set up from the start?
I … don’t actually care whether or not my OTPs become canon, and not just because I largely ship same-sex OTPs, either. I mean, I’ll go for the first one, I suppose, if only because I never (well, hardly ever) go for the obvious ones. Why bother, right, because it’s already right there in canon, they don’t need me to get all squeeful about them.
4) What is your favourite edible berry?
Strawberries. Preferably, wild ones. They’re all tiny and small and perfect.
5) If you did something consciously that would eventually lead to the world being a better place for everyone or thing on it - would your action be a big, bold everyone can SEE what you are doing sort of thing, or a subtle behind the scenes manipulation?
Behind the scenes. I have a very real aversion to “fame” of any kind, and… well, it’s one of Christ’s admonitions I really do try incredibly hard to follow, the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing thing. So, yeah.

2. Thigh high or knee highs! With funky patterns, and generally -- but not always -- black.
3. Writer. After I got over my 'drummer and apple-picker' stage (I was TWO alright).
4. I guess -- at the huge risk of being mooshy -- I'd have to say my host families, especially the ones in Takarazuka. I also miss the convenience -- late night shopping! -- the clothes -- they fit! -- the food -- OMG -- the anime -- it's everywhere! -- but mostly.. the people.
5. It used to be tomatoes. I could not eat a raw tomato even at all, but now I put them on my sammiches by choice. The one thing I have great trouble with at the moment is actually bananas, though that is obviously not a vegetable.

I always forget about the pain, too, but it really is worth it, I think. This is only my fourth pair (in almost ten years) and they're still the most comfy shoes ever once broken in. Also healthy, and kickass. <33

Good question! When will public transport in the UK cease to, um, suck so bad? XD
... I should probably just look for flights instead of trains; I think they should be fairly affordable. I really want to come up! Just haven't been feeling too stellar lately, but I do hope to get that under control soon, and then nothing can stop me.
