It's in OREGON.

There's a trail, and people die, and rocks and stuffs!

You don't want to go there.

Cannot BELIEVE that in the Neil Gaiman's journal feed thread about this there are people who think it's classier than a normal housing development. But there are.

To be fair, some of the normal housing developments I've seen have been incredibly tacky.

It's in Bend?

Bend is in the desert-y part of Oregon. The really nice green part of Oregon, where it REALLY ought to be, is the Willamette Valley. Where you'll actually be close to cities and rivers. Instead of mountains.

But Oregon has no sales tax! And really good cheese, wine, chocolate, blackberries, hazelnuts... and a big artistic community in Portland.

And you! And yeah, the lack of cities nearby would piss me off quickly. But still!

Actually, not any more -- I've moved back to California after graduating. :D So no more Or-ee-gun for me for a while.

I'm completely and totally in love with Holly Cottage - if I suddenly had a spare million, (and wanted to move to Bend) I'd buy it in an instant!!!!
