Random reactions, as usual:

  • I was so convinced Mickey was going to die when he kissed Rose like that. Flashback to TPotW, anyone?
  • I, along with just about everyone else, so called Ricky dying.
  • Dude, Jake and Ricky? Were so doing it. I'm having all manner of plotbunnies over here. Ow.
[ETA] Rumour on my friendslist has it that was supposed to be explicit, but they but out the explicit bits? SO NOT WITH THE HELPING! [/ETA]
  • Augh, Rose/Pete vibyness WTF?
  • "Can we do that?" Oooh, the Doctor showing doubt, that's ... a bit new, innit?
  • Dude. Mickey/Jake whoa. Yes. Right?
  • Someone's got to icon the Cyberman's head exploding.
  • Man, that was one excellent bit of team work there. And yay Mickey!
  • "Playstation," bwahahahaha! Oh, the irony.
  • Yep, Mickey's staying. So called it. *sniffles anyway*
  • God, with the subtext.
  • ... Paris? Mickey, son, what are you on?

Mickeeeeeyyyy! *sniffles*

Not really. For me, it harks back to Genesis of the Daleks, when the fourth Doctor had doubts about wiping out the Daleks before they had a chance to develop - and I'm sure there's been lots of other incidences that a more hard-core geek would pick up on. :o)

I kinda figured there'd been instances in pre-Nine days, yeah, but it kinda contrasted with Nine's total lack of doubts, ever, for me.

I really should go back and watch all the old episodes, shouldn't I?

I've got 43GB of Doctor Who here - although that does include the episodes of the last series that I downloaded as they were broadcast. (I might actually just delete those, since we do have the DVDs...)

I don't have a lot of what most people consider 'classic' Who - Tom Baker's fourth Doctor - but I do have all of Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy (plus the eight Doctor TV movie). Oh, and the first episode ever.

... Paris? Mickey, son, what are you on?

A delightful romantic getaway, by the sound of it!

Also, hi! I friended you a while back and forgot to comment to let you know. Sorry about that.

I firmly support the idea that he was just looking for some French birds. ;o)

He's just expressing scepticism about their chances of pulling in such an uncool vehicle. Micky, however, being a grade-A chav/ned knows all about the benefits of having a van when going out on the pull - no need to spend money on a cheap motel!

You realise, of course, that all you're doing is mutating the bunny I have, right? (Mmm, threesomes ...)

Oh I wouldn't dream of depriving a slashgirl of her plotbunnies - as if I could, anyway! ;o)

I think you mean, "I wouldn't deprive the plotbunnies of their slashgirl." Ow.
